1. Agreement to Terms

By calling our business phone number, sending us a text message, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

River City Automations provides an AI-powered virtual phone receptionist, SMS automation, customer management, and invoicing software for service businesses, based in San Antonio, TX.

3. AI-Assisted Communication

Our own phone lines are answered by an AI-powered virtual receptionist. This system:

Answers inbound calls on behalf of River City Automations
Provides information about our software, plans, and pricing
Collects your details so we can set up your account or follow up with you
Transfers calls to a person when needed

Any pricing quoted by the AI receptionist is indicative. Current plan pricing is published on our website and confirmed at checkout.

Separately, the software we license to you answers your business's calls under your business name. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide and for how your AI receptionist represents your business.

4. SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

How You Opt In

Consent is given by checking a dedicated, pre-unchecked, optional box on our signup form — never by default, and never as a condition of signing up. If you leave it unchecked, we send your setup details and account notices by email instead, and your account works exactly the same. The box reads:

“Text me my setup link, admin PIN, and alerts when a customer calls or texts my AI receptionist, new lead notifications, and appointment reminders — from River City Automations at the mobile number above. This is the fastest way to get running; most owners are live in about 5 minutes. These are account and service messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies by account activity. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.”

We record the date and time consent was given along with the exact wording shown.

Types of Messages

You may receive the following types of text messages:

Account setup links and your admin PIN
Alerts when a customer calls or texts your AI receptionist
New lead notifications
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Invoices, receipts, and service updates

These are informational and transactional messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Privacy of Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.

Businesses That Use Our Software

If you are a customer of a business that uses River City Automations, that business collects its own consent from you and sends messages under its own name and phone number. These terms cover messages sent by River City Automations itself.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. River City Automations does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging rates apply.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Supported Carriers

Messages are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your admin PIN confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your PIN has been compromised. You must provide accurate business information, keep it current, and use the software only for lawful communications with people who have consented to hear from you.

6. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Payment

Our software is sold as a monthly or annual subscription, plus a one-time setup fee. Current pricing is published on our website and confirmed at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term until cancelled.
Plans include a monthly allowance of AI call minutes. Usage beyond that allowance is billed at the overage rate shown for your plan.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Setup fees and amounts already billed are non-refundable unless required by law. On cancellation, any phone number we provisioned for you may be released, so please port it away first if you wish to keep it.

8. Limitation of Liability

River City Automations is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our AI receptionist or SMS messaging system. Our AI provides information to the best of its ability but is not a substitute for direct communication with the business owner for complex or urgent matters.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
