How You Opt In to Receive Text Messages

Consent is given by checking a dedicated, optional opt-in box — nothing else. The box is unchecked by default and you can complete signup without checking it. Simply calling us, providing your phone number, or completing a purchase does not sign you up for text messages.

Where consent is collected: on our signup form at rivercityautomations.com/super/onboard, Step 2 ("Owner / Primary Contact"), directly beneath the mobile number field.

The checkbox is unchecked by default, is separate from our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and reads:

“Text me my setup link, admin PIN, and alerts when a customer calls or texts my AI receptionist, new lead notifications, and appointment reminders — from River City Automations at the mobile number above. This is the fastest way to get running; most owners are live in about 5 minutes. These are account and service messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies by account activity. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.”

We record the date and time consent was given, along with the exact language shown, and can produce that record on request.

Two other situations where you may receive a reply from us:

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of signing up. You can decline SMS and still use our services exactly the same; we will send your setup details and account notices by email instead.

What Messages Will I Receive?

You may receive the following types of text messages from River City Automations:

  • Account & onboarding messages — A secure link to finish your signup, and confirmation when your account is set up and live.
  • Appointment confirmations — Confirming the date, time, and location of your scheduled service.
  • Follow-up messages — After a phone call to help with your service inquiry.
  • Quote notifications — Updates about estimates or pricing for requested services.
  • Service reminders — Reminders about upcoming appointments.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. You will typically receive 1–5 messages per service inquiry. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. River City Automations does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

Your Privacy — We Never Share Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The phone number you provide and your consent to receive text messages are used solely by River City Automations to deliver the messages described above. All other categories of data are subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal or mobile information.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message from us to immediately unsubscribe.
  • You will receive one final confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from River City Automations messages. You will not receive any more texts. Reply START to resubscribe."
  • To resubscribe, reply START or YES to any previous message.
